Our Services

The Project offers guidance and consultancy for private companies and governmental institutions which need technical support for commercialization of biopesticides or seek business partners in Southeast Asia .

Technical consultancy covers issues like mass production of bioagents, formulation, product testing and demonstration  including economic aspects like preparation of business plans and marketing. In collaboration with partners in various countries we also provide information on local and regional markets.

The projects assumes the role of a broker that matches business partners in order to pave the way for commercial distribution of biocontrol products. A very important component is preparation of registration dossiers and negotiation with regulatory authorities in partner countries.

Based on a strategic cooperation with the International Biocontrol Manufacturers’ Associaton (IBMA) we are able to provide you with international business partners, first-hand expertise and state-of-the-art technologies in biocontrol.

Technical Solutions, Matching Partners

Commercialization of biopesticides is a knowledge-intensive process that requires understanding not only of the science behind each product, but also of the economical challenges when it comes to industrial scale production and distribution.

We offer experience and expertise in:

> Microbials (e.g. Bt, insect-pathogenic fungi, etc)

> Macrobials (e.g. nematodes, etc)

> Semiochemicals (e.g. pheromones, etc)

> Natural biocontrol and bioactive substances (e.g. plant          extracts, etc)

GTZ has extensive contacts in development cooperation in Southeast Asia and maintains central offices in various countries. Drawing on these assets, we are able to bring together experts and partners of the private and governmental sectors when it comes to regulatory issues, market analysis or arrangement of joint ventures.
